A classic honest Czech lager. Thanks to the use of only Pilsner malt, the beer is very light, has a perfect full taste and a well-tuned bitter aftertaste. It got the name Alojz after the owner of the Luhačovice manor, Alois Serényi (1893-1957).

500ml can. Opalescent, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, herbal-grassy, spicy and minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, slightly bready, spicy, malty background with a buttery touch, whiffs of lemon balm, thistle, all things meadow. Taste is moderately bitter, herbal-grassy, spicy, floral and minimally citrusy, hoppy with a minimally waxy touch, slightly bready, spicy, malty basis with a minimally buttery touch, subtle residual sweetness. Oily texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, soft and creamy carbonation. A manifold of subtle hop flavours, well balanced with accentuated bitterness, highly drinkable - good.

Can from drinkshop.sk. Slightly hazy yellow with a tall head. Lovely hoppy nose, intense and fragrant. Light-bodied, shy malty base with a low sweetness. Punchy bitter and aromatic hops throughout, with a shy herbal and citrusy touch. Nice!

Iiiii think this was a PETka too? Or a bottle. At ČP anyway. Hazy golden body, white head. Weird pear-apple aroma, light, esters... Lean, light taste, far cleaner, herbal and bitterish. Quite okay, but it's a bit on the imperfect side aroma-wise, so can't score more. To be rerated.
