Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty-spicy, woody hints. Dry background. Fine hoppy notes. Light soapy. Finish still spicy-malty- Quite drinkable. Good!

Clear pale amber colour, lot of tiny bubbles, average frothy white head, diminishing slowly, light lacing. Aroma is malty, grain, dough, fresh hay; taste is medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste mainly sweet, more light bitterness towards the finish, also light spicy notes and a tad dusty at the end. A simple and pleasant tasty Märzen. I like the old-school label!

Bottle shared on the train from Sulzbach Rosenberg to Nuremberg during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a frothy white head. Lovely stuff, with sweet biscuity malt character, cereal, white bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with some doughy biscuits, minimal bitterness, a hint of hay. Simple but tasty.
