Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden to pale amber body and a small, off-white head. The aroma is too caramel malty for my likings, almost butterscotchy. Some hoppyness. The flavor is going in the same direction. Buttery caramel with some grassy hoppyness and bitterness. A nice bitterness finishes the whole thing. There’s enough bitterness to deal with the malty sweetness here, making it a quite decent one even though it’s too buttery, especially aroma-wise. It helps with some time in the glass though. 110524

bottle from biershop-braugasthoefe.de. Clear deep golden colour. Malty-sweet base balanced off by some nice spicy grassy hops. The first one in this series to really convince me.
