Swing top bottle. Murky brown color. Grassy herbal hoparoma and flavor. Licorice, mint, citrus. malty sweetish. Hardly any carbon. Dry, fruity, almost vinous finish. Not perfect, but interesting and tasty.

On tap at Craft room, Zagreb. Hazy dark orange, small off-white head. Malty, apricot, marmalade, caramel, sweetish, maybe a light sourish note. Medium bodied.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Nice golden/pale amber coloured, small creamy white to off-white haed, stale herbalish nose. Sweet malty, slightly perfumed herbal hoppy, notes of caramel and green apple in the traces with short bitter/sweet finish. Not the best batch I suppose.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666 and others. Murky amber, small lasting off-white head. Butter, cherry candy. Sweet, bitterness lost. Light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation, sweet finish. 53539=2.5

Tap at Craft Room. Murky, nearly opaque red-amber, off white head. Candyish, crystal malt, caramel, biscuity, actually lovely in a way if you don't expect an IPA. But this is an IPA... Dryish taste, candyish malt, dry, maybe vague bitterness, but more alcohol... Perfumey, malty light alcohol. Dryyyy towards the finish but sweet and carsmelly afterwards. I mean, technically. So... Caramel and dry bitterneds. Ew. No.

Superschön im Glas, dunkles Kupferrot. In der Nase Trauben, malzig, süß. Im Trunk nussig, Traube, Holz, alkoholisch, im Abgang wieder Holz, leicht bitter, Sherry. Komplex, sehr lecker, aber nicht ganz einfach zu trinken.

SAMPLE at a tasting. Murky amber, off-white head. Vague citrus hops and sweet fruit, caramel. Dry taste, lactic acidity and hop bitterness. Infected?

Bügelverschlußflasche (50 cl), abgefüllt von Meister Hertl persönlich, bei Hopfen & Malz in Berlin aus dem Kühlschrank gekauft und innerhalb von 2 Tagen verkostet. - Rötliches Gelbbraun, sehr trüb mit größeren Hefeklümpchen; äußerst kurzlebiger Schaum - kein besonders appetitlicher Anblick. - In der Nase scharf fruchtiger amerikanischer Aromahopfen (lt. Halsbinde: Cascade, Amarillo, Willamette, Perle) mit kräftigen Aromen von tropischen Früchten, Grapefruit und Tabak, überlagert von einer leicht störenden kühl-„medizinischen“ Note wie von Mundwasser oder Zahnkrem. - Im Antrunk tritt diese Zahnkremnote äußerst penetrant hervor und erschlägt die schönen Hopfen-Aromen. Es folgt eine unangenehm scharfe Säure, die wohl kaum Teil des beabsichtigten Geschmacksprofils ist, sondern einer Infektion zu verdanken sein dürfte. Um das Maß voll zu machen, ist das Gebräu auch noch viel zu rezent, fast brausig; mit unangenehm dünnem Mundgefühl. - Dieses IPA war leider ein kompletter Reinfall. Bei Hertls übt man wohl noch ...

Leicht säuerlicher Antrunk ohne große Hopfigkeit. Die Säuerlichkeit ist rund, das Bier harmonisch, etwas trocken. Deutliche Infektion. Hoffentlich kann ich das auch noch mal ohne Infektion probieren. 10/8/7/7/8/5
