Eine ganz besondere und schmackhafte Bierspezialität, eingebraut für die kalte Jahreszeit.
Nach schwerer Arbeit an frostigen Tagen traf man sich am wärmenden Holzofen, pflegte die Volksmusik und sprach über die Neuigkeiten in der Commune. Zur deftigen Brotzeit trank man das selbst gebraute, genussvolle Zoiglbier, den „Winterzoigl".
Vollmundig und aromatisch im Geschmack.

Bottle. Amber color. Malty, slightly soapy aroma. Medium bodied. Malty soft soapy flavor with hints of apple. Floral notes. Almost decent, but in no way comparable to real zoigl.

Bottle. Brownish amber, golden cream. Fatty malt, good grassy and light metallic herbal aroma. Medium body, dry, bitter. Roasty light chewy malt, a hint honey and berry, broad hoppiness with apple flowers towards the finish.

500 ml bottle. Unclear amber, big foamy head. Nuts, malts, bread, some citrus, some caramel. Medium bitterness, malty sweetness. Full bodied, creamy watery texture, bitter finish. Okay!

04.12.2015 -- 0.5l bottle as a part of bavarian beer set, edeka. pours a hazy amber with a big white head and a nice lacing. aroma of caramel malts, hay, spices. sweetish flavour of nuts, toasted malts, herbs. smooth and round mouthfeel, a bit like weizen. 08.04.2019 -- in another set from marktkauf, 6.49€/6pack, bb 25.10.2019. raisins and spices.

Süßlicher dunkler Beginn, kurzzeitig röstig, was aber schnell wieder verfliegt. Süßlich bleibend, dabei etwas getreidig, mild herb, insgesamt rund. Etwas steigende Würzigkeit zum Ende. Gelungen. 8/9/9/9/8/9

Lahev: Amber coloured, hazy, mid-sized off-White head with a good lace; sweetish toasty-caramelly nose, nutty traces in the Background; quite soft, moderate bready sweet-bitter flavour; gets a bit more bitter and drier in the short nutty-hoppy finish. Astonishingly good...by Hösl standards...

(bottle) Hazy, murky amber colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Slightly nutty cara-malty aroma with mildly bready accents and a subtle fruity touch. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately dark and earthy malt character with caramel, bready and delicately leafy notes; sweet malty, mildly earthy and restrained hop bitter finish. Drinkable fake Zoigl. 30.XI.14

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch malzig, hopfig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig grasig, malzig, leicht würzig.
