Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L141128. AROMA: restrained caramelized malt aroma with a slight note of diacetyl. no hop aroma discernible. APPEARANCE: redish copper body with slight orange tint and translucent. average ivory head with average retention. TASTE: slightly sweet malty flavour with caramel notes and a touch of roasted grains. very faint diacetyl. no hop flavour and low bitterness with a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with a slight slick sensation. moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice red ale, with balance towards the caramelized malt.

33 cl bottle @ vPBF, BBE 10/2012
Aroma is somewhat stale and sweet with some hay, resin and hints of peaches. Flavour has some resin, peaches, caramel and hints of biscuits. A bit thin palate and too flat too.
