Invited to brew in the US I wanted to use local ingredients. Agamemnon is an Imperial Stout brewed with maple syrup. Boiled 7 hours.

Schwarze Farbe mit ansehnlicher, beiger Schaumkrone. Prägnant süßer, röstmalziger Geruch mit Kaffee, Vanille und Ahornsirup. Geschmacklich zeigen sich Röstmalz, Kaffee, Bitterschokolade, Alkohol, Vanille und Ahornsirup. Lang anhaltender, alkoholisch röstmalzig bitterer Abgang. Große Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure. Sehr gutes Imperial Stout von Omnipollo, kraftvoll, energiegeladen und aromenreich.

Bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma is big peaty roasty malt, liquorice alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, liquorice alcohol bitter with a rich, oily, roasty, boozy alcohol, medicinal, light maple syrup palate and it’s a really light on the maple syrup. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Way too boozy to be honest which totally dominates.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out heavy maple syrup, followed by coal and cocoa. Flavour is sludgy, with lots of chocolate, fudge, and heaps of maple syrup. Heavy and sludgy, but well-constructed. Very nice.

Tap@Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Copenhagen - pours black with a tan head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, only slight roasted bit, with some chocolate, and big treacle and caramel sticky sweetness, lovely fayre.

Dark black.. Thin tan lacing...soft dry meaty malty chocolate roast. Nose.. Dark dry chocolate roast.. Light bitter chocolate dusty chocolate roast

Tap @CBC16. Black with brown head. Maple syrup and light bourbon aroma. Huge, sticky mouthfeel. Bitter softly boozr flavour. Bourbon and syrup, malt and dark caramel. Lovely.

Flaska från SB. 2013 vintage. Drucken med ölföreniingen. Söt, stor doft av kaffe, choklad och fudge, Tjock och trögflytande, stor kropp, mjuk munkänsla. Söt smakbild med fudge, muscovado, choklad, kaffe, viss madeiraisering, kärv lätt bränd eftersmak med torr bitter choklad. Riktigt trevlig, väl integrerade smaker och bra balans. Maffig.
