Bottle from Ruprecht_007, thanks! Deep dark brown color. caramel and chichory in the aroma. Thinnish, yet malty sweet, caramelly flavor with licorice and roast. Very tasty, the roast compensates the sweetness. Surprisingly easy drinker. Licorice, caramel and laurel in the finish.

Appearance: Dark brown opaque color with a fine tan head.
Aroma: Cold coffee and caramel malt.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sour and light bitter. Average carbonation.
Taste: Slightly sour caramel malty and some roasted notes.

bottle from Galerie Piva Prague. Deep brown, almost black colour, big, creamy, beige head. Intensive malt flavours with burnt and roast flavours, caramel, chooclate, espresso coffee. Delicious bitter hops complement these flavours wo well. Bitter-sweet overall character. Smooth and velvety palate, which makes this a very easy-drinking beer. High quality - another gem from this superb brewery.

Draught: Clear, reddish-amber coloured, very slowly collapsing off-white head; moderate sweetish caramelly-toasty nose; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, but n o t t o o sweet , almost medium bodied; becomes slightly drier towards the distinctive caramelly and bitter finish. A goody......
