Trübe gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, fruchtiger, leicht säuerlicher Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, fruchtig mit Koriander und Quitten, leicht säuerlich. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

Ein belgisches Witbier, das mit Wachauer Quitten-Äpfeln verfeinert wurde. Da ich in der Wachau aufgewachsen bin, sind mir Quitten wohlbekannt, allerdings schmeckte mir weder die Frucht noch irgendwelche Marmeladen daraus. Im WItbier ist die Quitte sicher nicht falsch, aber wirklich gebraucht hätte ich sie auch nicht. Es ist ein fruchtig-säuerliches Witbier, das sich gut trinken lässt, aber den Klassiker mit Gewürzen finde ich gemülicher.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, coriander. Taste, wheat, lemon, oranges, candy, coriander. Light hoppy bitter finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Good.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, medium white head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is wheat, lemon, fruit, coriander. Flavor is the same medium sweet, minimal bitterness and light zesty, spicy notes. Light body, creamy mouthfeel.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy light yellow body with a pretty small, creamy, white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, banana, citrus and other fruits. Taste is very fruity, with banana, orange, citrus, clove, spices, bread, some honey. Full mouthfeel with a creamy texture, lively carbonation and a fruity and spicy finish. Really quaffable, but it has also much of a Hefeweizen.
