Apricot beer soured with brettanomyces claussenii and lactbacillus brevis. It’s pale apricot in colour with fruit and a touch of brett on the nose. Satisying acidity gives way to more, delicious apricot fruit that lasts.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth’s pre GBBF shindig; clear yellow pour with a thin white head, aroma has lemon and apricot, taste has apricots, some bready action, along with some zesty lemon.

750ml bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, pale gold. Thin, white head. Nose has dried apricot. Light, bretty tang. Pale, bready grain. Hint of lemon rind. Taste has some sweetness, with a light, lemony zest. Crisp, fine palate. Some apricot stone on the finish. Ok. Not particularly sour or bretty, though.

Bottle at Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2016. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. some apricot flavour touch of kettle sour. Decent fruit. Not very sour. Apricot yoghurt.

Pre shinding 2016. Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach hellem kraut, Gewürze. Geschmack mild fruchtig, getreidig malzig, wässrig, langweilig.

Bottle sample. Slightly hazy golden color, white head. Nice apricot aroma. Taste is dusty, lightly tart and fruity. Very nice.

Sampled in front of ’De Bierkoning’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, sourish-fruity aroma of apricot, peach and some honey. Sweetish, sourish-fruity taste of apricot, peach and some honey, followed by a short, moderately tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
