Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, little coffee and hops. Nice roasty finish.

10oz glass at the brewpub. Nose is heavy amounts of oatmeal cereal with some light roasted coffee and a hint of cocoa. Black with a medium tan head that laces heavily. Flavor is oatmeal sprinkled with lightly bitter coffee and chocolate.

Mediocre cloudy dark brown body and modest foam. Lots of vanilla and chocolate syrup on the nose, feels slightly fake but it's comforting that way. Taste is all smooth and chocolatey, peanut butter almost, all very smooth and sweet. Quite desserty and effective in that fashion.
