Clyde’s Caramel Cream Ale is a silky cream ale. Clyde’s is named after our famous rescue cat who keeps a watchful eye on grain intruders. Mildly sweet with notes of caramel and vanilla, this cream ale has a luxurious mouth-feel, and a smooth, creamy finish.

12 oz. can from HyVee, Carroll IA. Pours like a brighter Kraft caramel, with a thick head. Light caramel and vanilla nose. Taste is a pleasant toasty beer malt, with caramel and vanilla. Nice and mild at first, although it gets a little perfumey

Vanilla caramel malt and straw aroma. Hazy amber with moderate light tan head and mild effervescence. Very sweet vanilla caramel malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Okay body.

12oz can pours out amber topped with a small sand head. Nose is sweet caramel vanilla cream. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel vanilla cream notes.

Pour is a hazy amber with a large white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with some marshmallow. Reminds me of cheap fizzy, pink cream soda. Flavor Is caramel and again with marshmallows. Not as sweet as I thought it would be but it’s a little too sweet for me.
