Pours black with a very small tan head. The aroma is of chocolate, roast malt, bananas, and cinnamon. The barrel flavor isn’t very prominent. It was a rum barrel apparently, but it’s hard to tell. It’s sweet with chocolate, roast malt, bananas, cinnamon, and vanilla. It’s full bodied and quite tasty.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Aromas of cinnamon, brown sugar and light boozy rum notes as it warms. More of the same on the palate with loads of brown sugar, molasses and more rum. Lingering warming alcohol, brown sugar and cinnamon on the finish. Body is a bit thin, but still enjoyable. Not sure if I get the bananas though.

Pint can from Ridgeview Liquor, 6/25/22. Near black, thin fizzy tan head, poor retention. Aroma of banana, banana chips, rum, cinnamon, vanilla. Taste is rum, cherry, banana, vanilla, chocolate, coffee. Bit of smoke. Full bodied, booze hidden well. Nice there's no lactose. Overall a very nice beer.
