|
Unique hop combinations are the inevitable paths to evolution for the IPA fan. Intense hop flavor and very forward bitterness are representative of a west coast style. Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe lead the way with mango, white wine, and slight resinous pine. All of this is harmonized with two German varieties, Akoya and Saphir, that push the floral notes to the brim.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Yellowish pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some slight fruity and mild toffeeish tones. Flavour is fruity, nectary, some toffeeish and mild herbal tones. Smoothly balanced and nicely fruity aftertaste with a mild bitterness. Refreshing.

Lots of malt and not much else. Can't read label, whether it was canned two or four months ago. A little grapefruit but not much malt otherwise. Dark amber pour with ok head. Bitter finish with a little hop tang. Can on beach in Puerto Rico.

Can picked up from Beer Republic Webshop, Breda, Netherlands and consumed this at home Saturday 12th November 2022 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music we had Moroccan Lamb Kebabs, Chicken Souvlaki, Tsatsiki and Greek Salad Rhys's last day here. Pours hazy gold colour with a white head, resinous pine notes on the nose with a little bit of citrus. These descriptors are also noted in the mouth, it's got a nice bitterness, decent Westy.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grpes, gooseberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, gooseberry, grapes, fruity malt, fruity hops, easy going. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20221016]
