Keg draught at the brewery tap. Lightish yellow/gold and hazy with a small crown of white head. Melon and some banana in the aroma, but a little bit sickly and not whati was expecting from a NZ beer. Taste is better, but it's got a surprising bitterness that gives it a lovely character. Bitter in the finish a full of hop oils all over the mouth. Silky smooth texture with enough carbonation to give it zing. Not my favourite Black Iris beer bit it grows on me.

Draft at The Coracle, Ironbridge. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, malt, passionfruit, light dry pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Long live Ukraine!
