Adjacent to Zermatt the Monte Rosa massif includes the «Dufourspitze» (4634 m) the highest point of Switzerland. Undoubtedly a flavorful highlight guarantees our Zermatt beer «Monte Rosa». Because of the late hopping with «Tettnanger» hops during the brewing process and the very cool degreening, this golden lager is a sophisticated pleasure and a symbol of highest art of brewing at the foot of the Matterhorn at the same time.

Bottle 33cl. from a Coop supermarket (in Zermatt) @hotel room in Zermatt, poured into a tumbler. Slightly unclear medium golden colour, fair frothy white head, mostly diminishing, some lacing. Aroma sweet malt, caramel, biscuit, some yeast, herbal notes. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, grain, light spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, husky notes give it a bit coarse impression, okay.
