A strong ruby ale with spicy hop aromas and a rich malty finish. Brewed from the finest malted barley and Kentish hops this 'BEAST' of a beer is deceptively easy-drinking for its strength and is conditioned naturally in the bottle to produce a sparkle and sediment characteristic of all great living beers.

Bottle pint: Dark ruby red coloured brew with an an fruity taste and a bitter finish. And the label is kind of odd.

Bottle shared with the missus at Bukowski @ Boxpark - Shoreditch, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a small, off-white foam topping. Toasty toffee in the nose, some leafy hops. Medium sweet flavour with more toffee and toasted malts, dried leaves, faint dark fruits, leather. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sweet on the finish, with lots of leaves, moderate bitterness, moss, leathery fruits, mellow toffee sugars. Not bad overall.

Bottle. Looks very dark brown, ruby tinge, no head at all- ends up looking like a pint of coke. Aroma- malty, slight red wine, raisin, hop hints. Taste- full and malty, raisin hints, a little bit of roastiness, chocolatey finish. Really nice, unexpectedly so given the appearance.
