[Cask (gravity pour) at the Basingstoke Beer Festival 2024] A pale chestnut pour; biscuity malt aroma; biscuity malt taste; a trace of citrus to finish. Doesn't seem to be abundantly hopped.

Cask at Pretty Bricks, Walsall. Pours golden brown with a medium sized foamy almost white head and excellent lacing. Is slow to settle but does so eventually. Autumn fruits to the fore in the aroma plus some hoppy hints. In the mouth it starts off sweet but fairly soon becomes bitter with traditional hops increasing in strength till they dominate. A bit watery and no other strong flavours – just hints of caramel and malts. Finish is quite dry. It’s quite decent really.
