"Köbi BBA", ein "Bayerisch British Ale", Fläschchen von Ambrosetti, 20.8.2025. - Goldbraun, trüb; ausufernder Schaum. - In der Nase satte pampelmusige Hopfung über leisem, Ale-ähnlichem karamelligem Malz. - Antrunk kernig pampelmusig-herb hopfenbitter mit mundfüllender Bittere, die kaum etwas vom Malzkörper ahnen läßt. Stärker rezent als nötig (viel mehr als ein britisches Ale). Im Abgang fast penetrante erdige und ölig zitrusfruchtige Bittere. - Sehr direkt, beinahe plump gehopftes, kraß bitteres Erzeugnis, das nur von fern an britische Ales erinnert.

Hazy amber. Aroma is grassy hops with lots of fruit and light caramel. Taste is quite bitter oily hops but fresh carbonation and a little fruity finish. Not bad. Quite balanced. Good.

Cloudy amber colour, white foam. Notes of apricot, citrus, earthy, grassy, messy. Sweet, bitter and watery. Not very nice.

330ml bottle. Unclear amber with a huge fluffy head. Grapefruit, lemon, roasted malt, licorice, resinous hops, again lemon, spicy peppery hops, white wine. Dry sourness, hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, fizzy carbonated, dry sour bitter finish. Quite a mess, not really sure what that is.

Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,33 l bottle. Cloudy orange brown in the glass, some bigger sediments are floating around. More than one finger white foamy head. Malty with fresh bitter hop on the nose. Taste is strong dusty malty, increasing crisp bitter hop with peppermint. Some sweetness in the second row with resin. Dry malty finish. Low carbonation. Also nice.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice small head. Starts fine malty-spicy, modest bitter notes. Hints of lemon, some grapefruit. Some grainy notes as well. Finish well balanced. Nice!

Süffiger, deutlich hopfiger Beginn, der aber von einer deutlich karamelligen Malznote mitgetragen wird. Angenehme Bitterkeit, dunkel würzig, der Hopfen bleibt klar erkennbar und präsentiert sich frisch. Spritzig, zum Ende etwas trocken, rund. 8/10/10/11/9/11
