Can. I've had plenty of good Dainton beer but really bought this for the stupid name. Reddish brown with a beige head. Big sticky bun aroma with pine, stewed fruit, oranges. Ah, then like the Third Birthday one, it's significantly less sweet than you'd expect yet has all the sticky richness. Maybe some of the hop aromatics get lost before the nicely bitter end but this works well even if it's rather strong for what it offers.

Best drunk at room temperature. Rich aromas of caramel, biscuit, raisins, glace cherries and pine needles. The biscuit and caramel are nicely in balance with the hops in the mouth. Slightly too much alcohol is the only criticism.

From a 440ml can on 5/5/2022. Pours a clear deepreddy amber with a smallish head. Smells of caramel malt and dark fruit. Tastes of caramel, sultanas, apricot and spice, which a big resiny finish. Really is chewy in terms of the mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. It's a big beer but the alcohol's in check. Not as aggressive and out there as Six String's Double Dark Red, but an excellent huge red none the less.
