Hop Gremlin is our most hop-laden beer to date (with the highest face-twistiness rating) and is one for the hop-heads! It's Stone Radge* Man! *Stone Radge: A Translation from Geordie: Something that is extremely amazing, shocking or mental (not in the psychological sense). Stone being used to emphasise (as in very) the word radge, used in this context as incredible.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Brinkburn Street Brewery. Spotty lacing on the glass from a steady off-white head, cloudy orange coloured body. Inviting malt-fruity aromas, citric scent to it. Quite well balanced taste of orange and grapefruit offset by mild malty sweetness. On the sweet side of bittersweet to the ending. Fine bodied. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Byker - Newcastle upon Tyne, 20.03.2024).

Hand-pulled half-pint at the Brinkburn Street Brewery, Bar and Kitchen on 14th April 2023, part of a rather large 'Flight' of six halves! Off-white crown on a clear golden pour. Hoppy little number with citrusy esters ruling the aroma, taste also fruity with citrus flavours to the fore, some late bitterness also.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of citrus, fruity hop. Taste is sweetish, malt, caramel, fruity, peach, citrus, pine, with resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Aroma is hoppy, citrus, stone fruits, grass, touch herbal, pine cone and nut. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Medium body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.
