750ml bottle from Brew Cavern, Nottingham. Orangey reddish gold colour, short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of islay whisky cask, peaty, phenolic, smokey, some plum. Taste is sweetish, tangy, phenolic, islay cask, salty, with mellow fruity plum and apple notes, and then woody, drying tannins. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, smooth soft carbonation, dry tannic finish. All blends together nicely, very drinkable.
