bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma beige fine persistente, colore marrone/mogano limpido, al naso subito intenso miele di castagno poi malto tostato zucchero di canna, in bocca ancora miele, miele e miele poi malto caramello fichi secchi uvetta, corpo medio, leggero watery, carbonazione leggera, dolce con amaro moderato. Buona, ben bilanciata, non troppo impegnativa. Va giù bene. c. Bottega della Birra Arona 24.10.20

Draft at BeerAttraction 2019, Rimini, Italy. Pours full amber, fairly brilliant and crisp, with moderate cream-coloured foam, fine. Aroma is generic malty. Body is pretty dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium-strong sweet at first, with a little bitterness too, later. Finish is regular.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts malty, light fruity-sourish hints, a bit woody. Also some moldy-soapy notes. Finish could be a bit more balanced. Still okay.

Bottle from a supermarket in Freiburg. Huge nose. Very malty, with raisins, plums, treacle. Great depth. Lovely reddish brown and clear, with a low, thick head. Bug malty flavor, chocolate and caramel, raisins, dried dates. Dry finish and never too sweet to begin with. Good doppelbock.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Robijnrood helder bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van toffee en karamel. Smaak is zoet,fruitig en karamel achtig. Nasmaak is iets bitter. Verrassend goede smaak voor een Duits bier.

Bottle recieved with Euro Swap 2 2018. Thanks 2 Bartlebier! Shared with Inoven. The beer is red brown coloured, with a little head. It has a nice malt nose. The taste is roasted malt, a bit metal and caramel.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. piwo ma stosunkowo mala piane, ale za to ladny blask czerwieni. zapach to glownie czerwone owoce, smak to mnostwo karmelu, slodzona zurawina, nieco pumpernikiela? malo chmielne, trocze czuc tu alkohol ale nie przeszkadzal bo byl jak w dobrym deserowy,, wzmacnianym winie.

0.5l bottle, 0.95?. pours a clear deep amber with a creamy but quickly disappearing head and some lacing. aroma is very malty, caramel, coffee, bread, hay. flavour of caramel, brown sugar, molasses, bread. weak grassy bitter kick towards the finish. alcohol is very well hidden.

Bottle sample at Vova’s Hoppy Beerthday tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks rayaron. Clear deep amber-brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, a toasty note. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel, a bit of toast, some nuts, a bit of molasses. Good chewy mouthfeel. A nice sipper.
