Hohenthanner Schloßbrauerei St. Sixtus, 8 %, Flasche vom Craftbeer-Shop.com. - Dunkles Rotbraun, klar. (5.3.2022.)

Bottle (8% version) picked up REWE, Zolling and consumed at home Attenkirchen Friday 13th December 2019 in the company of Lynn and Barry. We're cooking a large Mousakka and listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music. Pours dark reddy brown with a good clarity and a white head. Thick in the mouth, a little nutty, malty, not so sweet. Very good.

Bottle. Malt and toffee in the aroma. Full bodied. Slightly alcoholic, caramelly sweet flavor with hints of roast. Short aftertaste. Still a nice doppelbock.

Bottle at MC Zurich. Pours clear dark ruby. Aroma is boozy, dark ripe fruit, a bit metallic. Body is heavy, sweet, soft carbonation, a bit sticky. Typically bock, quite well done. Sweet long warming palate. Good.
