Bottle. Pale blonde. Soft floral notes in the aroma. Floral hopbitter flavor. Medium bodied. Hints of dust.

Tap at Wanderer. Bright, clear gold with a medium, fine head. Lemony nose, light malt, apple and Apfelwein. Crisp, lemony, peppery, with light crackery malt and yes, apfelwein. Crisp finish. Decent, but not particularly impressive.

Bottle. Pours clear light yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is spicy hops, and light malts. Full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is crisp, spicy hops with notes of grass, and malty notes of cereals, bread and toffee. Quite hop forward, and a bit unbalanced with a flat, almost cardboardy feel to the malts.

Flasche (50 cl) von Bierzwerg.de, MHD: 13.11.14. - Blaßgelb mit zartem Grünstich, beinahe klar; kurzlebiger Schaum. - In der Nase würziger aber leicht gealterter Aromahopfen und milde Malzsüße. - Antrunk nur mild gehopft: leicht zitronig, schwach grasig. Für ein Pils ungewöhnlich mild rezent, was auch die helle Malzsüße stärker betont. Auch im Abgang bleibt der Hopfen zwar aromatisch aber mild. Etwas schaler, schwach bitterer Nachtrunk. - Von einem Bier aus der Heimat des berühmten Hersbrucker Hopfens hatte ich doch etwas mehr an Hopfenaromen erwartet, aber dies ist eher durchschnittlich gehopft und ein wenig matt, wenngleich angenehm und süffig. Vielleicht war meine Flasche schon zu alt - leider geben heutzutage selbst Kleinbrauereien MHDs von einem halben Jahr und mehr an, obwohl ihr Bier schon nach wenigen Wochen spürbar an Frische und Aroma einbüßt.

Bottled (from Bier Zwerg). Pale golden colour, mediumsized white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is grass, herbs, some bready malts as well as some slight sweetish notes. Flavour is grass, herbs, some bready malts, mild sweetness as well as some earthiness. Balanced, and quite fresh when drinking.

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch grasig, herb, minimal säuerlich. Geschmack malzig herb, grasig, wässriger Abgang.

Clear pale golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, hops, bitter, little citrus.

Frisch herb-hopfiger Beginn mit angenehmer Grasigkeit. Geringe Würzigkeit, im Mittelteil dunkler grasig und leicht bitter. Erfrischend, ausgewogen, rund. Gutes Pils! 9/11/12/11/9/11

bottle from wastl. Clear, pale yellow colour, large white head. Lovely hop aroma. Elegant, light, malty base with lots of grassy-herbal hops. Smooth and pleasant carbonation supports the flavours well. Hops are really impressive here, and is sure is the signature beer of Hersbrucker hops. Fine stuff.
