Time to fire up those “100” and “bomb” emojis. This TIPA is jam packed with two of our favorite hops, Citra and Nelson. This hop combo creates a big sweet, tropical citrus aroma. The flavor follows with strong notes of orange rinds and mango, that pop with the beer’s full-bodied mouthfeel. All the aroma and flavor in this beer play together to hide the 10% ABV.

1 pint can from Hoptimaal online store. Murky dark yellow beer with nice and stable, cloudy head. Aroma has lot of exotic fruits and hops. Flavor has dank, exotic fruits, hops. Very tasty and drinkable, not too heavy nor sweet. Really smooth and creamy with little bitterness. You wouldn't guess the high abv. Wonderful beer.

TIPA is as TIPA does. Hoards of hazy hoppyness. Sweet, with lots of juicy citrus and tropical fruits, some light pine, quite a bit of dankness. Dense, heavy, and pretty delightful. Not unique or very special, just good style example, and tasty.

Pretty solid example of the style. Firm bitterness to balance the abv. Hazy but not mud. Has the classic character and is mostly clean. BeerTemple ams

Starchy, opaque yellow pint from RAUM has plenty of lacing white head. Nose is dank out of the glass, grasses and green stuff, grapefruit and stinky melon, herbs, some honey, some vanilla. Flavor backs off the green and heads to the malt and fruit, melon and now stone fruits, oats and vanilla, oranges and mango, some lime and grass lurking. Finishes real smooth, creamy with no indication of a 10% ABV.

Super hazy golden and light straw coloured body with a very large, four to five centimetre tall nice microfoamed off-white head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of dry malts, pepper, flowers, grass and hay with a soft sweetness noticeable, as well as some candy notes. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich malty character that is fairly smooth, but very viscous along with a fresh grapefruit and resin note and some very subdued, but noticeable candy and caster sugar notes of sweetness. Aftertaste is crisp, slightly dry, very malty, yet somehow not cloying, strong, assertive, aggressive or too deep - the balance is struck nicely, with some good fruit notes, a very strong malt presence and a great hop profile that doesn't have a lot of alpha acids or bitterness, but does show a good fruity and dry character throughout. Overall, a very nice beer that is definitely 'new school', as a ten-per center Imperial IPA, doesn't have any real bitterness, yet goes down easily and tastes about eight per cent at most! Great from the brewery, well-balanced, with great hidden alcohol and I hop I get to try more from this brewery even closer to Washington! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Olde Spirits Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$8,09!!! while cutting down my Christmas Tree for the year, sampled at my house back here in Washington on 13-December-2020.
