Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Varvar Brewery in Ukraine to support the DEC Ukraine Appeal. Together we’ve brewed a strong and robust Imperial Stout made to replicate the flavours of Ukraine's famed smoked prunes.

We’ve used a fine spread of dark roast malts as well as smoked malt making a rich and sweet base with incredible depth of flavour. We then let it rest in a blend of Laphroaig Whisky and second fill Bourbon and Whisky barrels deepening its palette.
Luxurious dark roast coffee, essences of liquorice, caramelised muscovado and molasses are met with a boozy back tone of sweet bourbon and aged oak and an unmistakable smooth smoke flavour.

440ml can at House of Hops, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured almost black in colour with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is smoky bacon, roasty malt. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light salty, dry liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma and flavour have a Frazzle smoky bacon note. Background creamy chocolate sweetness.

Now this is something. Creamy, soft, thick body. Flavourwise, amazing balance between smoke, barrels and roast, with a warming surprising boozyness and a savoury finish. This feels like an excellent 12%'er, absolutely superbly made.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is biscuity malt, chocolate, peat, vanilla, light fruit, taste is similar, chewy, salty, long smoky finish.

440ml can. Pitch black with the thinnest of beige heads. Aroma is smokey, dark chocolate, liquorice, molasses. Taste is sweet, smokey, chocolate, liquorice, molasses, bourbon, warming booze. Medium bodied, smooth. Superb.
