Thick pink head, soon gone over almost black purple beer. Superb, super-intense dark fruit nose, with hints of truffle, tannine, as a deep red wine. Again strong red wine, with lots of acids. Flavours of truffles, incense, tannines, musk. Faint hint of lemon backthroat, even malonic. Acidthinning and -burn, very outspoken dry-out effect. Long lasting fruity and aromatic flavours hanging around. Not really very carbonated, but more probably would harm the character of the beer. Mind-blowing beer. There is maybe JUST a tad of overload on the acids, but that is searching for something. To think that this place stopped producing is appaling.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear dark red colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, grapes, peach, cherry, vanilla, wood - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, peach, grapes, cherry, barrel - vanilla, wood, dry. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20230414]

Sample (Blend 2, thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is pizza sauce (or pasta carbonara) with some spicy tones. Flavour is rosehip, some tomatoes, mild tartness too. Quite tasty and different.

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown, off white head. Aroma is deep fruity, sourish. Cherry and wooden. Lingering fruity, dry and smooth mellow. Sour and fruity finish.

Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin pink head. The aroma has notes of cherries, wood, brettanomyces, and grapes. The flavor is sour with notes of cherries, wood, brettanomyces, grapes, and funk, leading to a tart finish.

Backlog. Flaska från McQuillans, tack! Blend 5. Mörk rödlila med nätt rosa krona. Massor av körsbär och hallon, vanilj och kakao längre bak. Oerhört mycket smaker och bra tryck. Supergott.

No head over hazy amber beer. Fresh lambic-y and raspberry notes, other berries. Quite sour, raspberry, wood, and a special flavour I link to the cacao nibs. Sharp, if acetic-free acidity. Serious acidthinning and -burn. Low carbonation. Decent, if a bit unidimensional.

Sour, tart, fruity. Strong sweet red cherries with some ripe black ones, some red grapes. Medium acidity, dries up towards the end. A flavor bomb, way better than b2. Excellent.
