Bottle, at Jæren Ølfestival. Close to black in the glass, at least dark brown, with some beige bubbles on top. The flavor has roasted and some burnt malts, with some charcoal and hints of nuts and dark chocolate. It’s medium bodied and softly carbonated, quite dry, with a burnt kind of bitterness. Roasted malts, burnt malts, charcoal, dark chocolate, some dark dried fruit and a hint of caramel and nuts. More on the caramel and nut side in the finish. Quite nice this one, tasteful and easy drinkable. 220813

On tap at the brewpub. The colour is dark brown to black with a big beige head. Aroma of nuts, roasted malt, brownies, nougat and rye bread. Flavour of leather, coffee, ash and dark chocolate. Has a slick and slightly silky mouth feel, light body and a light to medium bitterness. Roasted and nice with a fine touch of chocolate.
