Bottle, from a trade, at home. Almost Black with little light brown head. Roasted malts, Chocolate, coffee, some dry bitterness. Sour.

Looks black with a small beige head Ok intensity in the aroma A bit dry and a bit soft carbonation level But very easy to drink Chocolate, roast and coffee in the flavor [Bottle at Jæren Ølfestival 22]

Jæren Ølfestival 2022. Black color with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, roasted malt, caramel. Flavor is sourness, fruit, roasted malt, caramel, nuts, chocolate, dried fruits. OK beer.

Bottle, at Jæren Ølfestival. Close to black in the glass, at least dark brown, with some beige bubbles on top. The flavor has roasted and some burnt malts, with some charcoal and hints of nuts and dark chocolate. It’s medium bodied and softly carbonated, quite dry, with a burnt kind of bitterness. Roasted malts, burnt malts, charcoal, dark chocolate, some dark dried fruit and a hint of caramel and nuts. More on the caramel and nut side in the finish. Quite nice this one, tasteful and easy drinkable. 220813

Shared bottle at Bryne tasting, as Grana Stout. Black colour, small beige head of poor retention. Moderate roasty aroma. Nice roasty flavour, notes of coffee and dark chocolate.

Notater fra en særdeles hyggelig kveld på Jæren Ølfestival 2022: brunsvart med ok skum. Deilig aroma og smak av mørkrøstet malt, kaffe, litt sjokolade og mørke bær. Tørr avslutning, lettdrikkelig. Fra 0,5 flasker.

On tap at the brewpub. The colour is dark brown to black with a big beige head. Aroma of nuts, roasted malt, brownies, nougat and rye bread. Flavour of leather, coffee, ash and dark chocolate. Has a slick and slightly silky mouth feel, light body and a light to medium bitterness. Roasted and nice with a fine touch of chocolate.
