Bottle Shop Series #2: Highball Drifter
There’s a new sheriff in town – meet Highball Drifter, a barrel-aged sipper inspired by our favorite bourbon-based cocktails. The second entry in our Bottle Shop Series, Highball Drifter presents aromatics of caramel and vanilla, dried fruit and spice while hints of cherry and bitter orange peel whisk you away like a tumbling tumbleweed. Call us old-fashioned, but we think you’re going to love it. 11% ABV.

355ml bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour with small, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Relatively cautious, sweet-ish, minimally nutty, caramel malty and minimally piney, hoppy aroma, some treacle, BA induced Bourbon overtones, some oak as well. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly nutty, caramel malty, notes of caramel, nougat, BA notes of Bourbon, some oak; minimally warming, alcoholic finish, well hidden alcohol overall.
Minimally creamy, dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very homogeneous, harmonious - nice, simple sipper.

Toasted and sweet malty with lots of caramel and fudge sweetness, plethora of dried fruit shred, nice spices, full bodied, laced through with vanilla and bourbon into the warming sweet malty finish. Lovely.
