Cask at the Pineapple, Kentish Town on 21st September 2022. Amber with shallow foam and almost no lacing. Sweet malts in aroma. Citrus zest and leafy hoppiness in-mouth with caramel malt. Grassiness and maltiness dominate the finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a light to medium body.

1/3 pint from handpump at Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Yellow hazy color, small white head. Smells earthy, grassy, bit musty, spices, herbal. Decent smell. Light to medium body, light carbonation. Tastes grassy, peppery, earthy, herbal, hay, tobacco. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of hay, tobacco and earthy notes. Nice one, my first real ale, grows on me, nice.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2015. Golden coloured ale. Thin textured and mostly tasteless with a lower bitterness. There’s some sweetness in its nose.
