Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of toffee, biscuit, caramel dried fruit, slightly bready, and a hint of spice. Taste is toffee, nutty, ashy and smooth albeit a touch watery. Very good.

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from Beautiful Beers and drunk at home. Light to mid-brown, translucent with a huge, thick beige/khaki head. Malty and light oak in the sumptuous aroma. Tastes sweet at first with big oak notes, with an intense bitterness taking hold mid-sip. Just a touch of the sweetness comes back for the short finish. Touches of oak and lightly spiced chocolate in the aftertaste. Interesting stuff even if the balance is a little off.
