Bottle at brewery. Pours clear red with a decent white head that sticks around. Aroma is funk, oak, red wine, jammy red fruit, red grape, tannins. Taste is red grape skins, oak, red wine, funk. Really dry on the palate with loads of grape skin on the finish. Great stuff!

Pours fairly unclear redpink. Small white head. Scent is juicy, red grapes (cherries) , taste is quite soft and gentle on the tannins, red fruits are quite intense. Quite balanced, super fruity , fresh lambic . Lovely - but no major surprise

Bottle enjoyed at Moeder Fontainas. Clear garnet pour with a small pinkish/white head. Loads of grape on the nose. Mouthfeel is dry but not astringent. Lots of prickly carbonation. Outstanding Barbera (red vinous) highlights. This is fantastic and right up my alley. The sour barnyard and horse blanket notes take a back seat to the grapes but nevertheless provide depth and character. Great mouthfeel and body. Bravo….

Bottle 0.75l at Cantillon, Bryssel. Vintage 2022. Color is clear deep ruby with almost no head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, grape, dryness, vineous elements, Woody elements... pretty massive grape actually.

Bottle split at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Pours a dark berry red with a pinkish cap. Aroma: grapes, grape skins, vinous, some funk. Taste: also dominated by the grape, vinous, musty, light funky, some lighter red berry vibes, somewhat tannic. Medium body with spritzy carbonation. Tastes quite young but decent complexity is building already.

Bottle at the brewery. Dark ruby, but also a bit translucent. Very very vinous, but not in a heavy way. Bright cherries and red currants, quite mineral, but also leathery tannins and a soft earthy touch. Quite light sour actually. This is like a natural wine, but I like it!
