Bottle shared for my 15.000th beer, and ofcourse it has to be a Nevel beer! Massive thanks to Thijs who even brought out proper glassware and Nevel opener, much appreciated! Clear golden. Mint, gagel, sour grains, white wine, absinth, bread crust malts. Very aromatic herbal stuff but not too soapy or culinaryz very fitting and matching the beer. Soft oak. Over medium sour, lighter sweet and soft bitter. Solid medium bodied. This has aged for 44 months on oak and a while in the bottle but the aromatics are still very present. Great beer.

Lovely beer. Relatively neutral. But has nice spruce tip like herby addition that is just mild but powerful enough. Great sour body. Wildeman ams

15/XI/22 - 75cl bottle @ home, BB: 9/VI/22, batch #1 (2022-1624) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the beer!
Pretty clear blond orange beer, big creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, oxidized, fruity, lots of orange peel, wood notes, brett, a bit weird, sweet impression. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish start, lemon juice, gentle bitterness, a bit herbal, very acidic, wood notes. Aftertaste: very acidic, dry, lots of oranges, orange peel, quite some alcohol, bitter finish, very herbal, little bitter.

Pours a montly clear straw yellow colour and a fairly big white head with good retention. Aroma's: sour, wood, funky, like lambic. Retronasal: sourish, light sweet, light herbs/spice. Flavour is sour with a hint of sweet (according to Matthias from the herbs). Light bodied. Long finish, some herbs, fairly dry.
