We’ve aged our rich & unctuous B.P.A.V.K base beer in 2 Jamaican Rum barrels for a year. Expect loads of molasses, Demerara sugar, subtle spice & vanilla, alongside that unmistakeable touch of oak & rum.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, smooth dark chocolate with an undertone of dark chocolate Malteasers. A little fruity dark chocolate melds well with fruity Rum barrel that never gets too estery Rum. Mild alcohol spice. Rich rum with a touch of dry oak induced vanilla leads to a fairly dry finish. Rich and rewarding, would have liked even more dark malt depth for a top notch return, very drinkable nonetheless. .

440mlc can. Pitch black, small tan head. Aroma of rum, oak, boozy dark chocolates. Taste is heavy on the rum, loads of oak, boozy dark chocolates, molasses, more rum, brown sugar, even more barrel.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, dark fruits, prunes, oak,liquorice toffee.Taste is no nonsense dark chocolate (the 90% proof kind),coffee,liquorice toffee, molasses, oak, prunes, profiteroles. Dark rum eases through in the back end. Delicious 😋
