CURL is a Double India Pale Ale combining a melange of Mosaic, Citra, Strata, El Dorado and Cashmere into a remarkably soft 8% beer with flavours of melon, passionfruit, lychee and tacky resin of both the pine and weed variety.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate starts smooth but rapidly develops a light but fine minerally crispness. Light smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops are a delightful mix of light smooth pine, soft but rich and reasonably bright tropical fruits. Pineapple and passion fruit. Some hop spice and the lightest, and pleasingly so because it is so light, savoury skunk before a crisp finish. Lovely layered dipa.

Can at home, 11th November 22. Pours a hazy orange. Aroma is pine and citrus pith, marmalade. Taste is marmalade, pine, spiky bitterness, mango, resin, aromatic. Another good beer from Beak

Can from the Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is stewed apples, lychee, passionfruit, pulped mango, peach. Taste is passionfruit, peach, white grape, mango, lychee, pineapple. Fruity bitter finish.

440ml can. Hazy golden orange, white head. Aroma of passionfruit, mango. Taste of passionfruit, mango, papaya, finishes with some dank herb and resin, slightly sweet, low bitterness. Medium bodied.
