Session Cold IPA

Everybody chill. All Day Chill Day is a refreshingly crisp Cold IPA brewed with an assemblage of hops for subtle yet flavorful punch of pineapple, floral and lemon notes. Throw out your to-do lists and let the pleasant dryness and moderate bitterness from the cold fermentation process ground you in the moment – where good friends and good hangs are more important than anything you had to do anyway.

Can. Pineapple aroma with notes of lemon, floral hops, mango and grapefruit. Pours clear pale golden colored with a finger of white head that has excellent retention and little lacing. Starts with juicy pineapple, mango and grapefruit flavors. Finishes dry with lemon and floral hop flavors. Nice and refreshing.

Cheap can. Smell of a lighter IPL. Almost clear pale with a white head that fades quickly. First taste is a little veggie like. Yea, reminds me of a few session IPA, even has some of that cabbage thing going on in the olfactory. Some carbonation but it's awfully near flat. Yes, reminds me of a straub IPL I had once. Its a little easy on the hops but seems to be brewed with lager yeast? WTF. There, you have it. Why has IPA infiltrated and bastardized so many brews? Just asking.

Super crisp and completely clear golden coloured body with a slightly soapy pure white head, only one centimetre tall, but zillions of small bubbles rise from the bottom and sides for all eternity! Aroma of crisp grassy and slightly soapy hop notes, with a soft sweetness from honey noticeable and a very mild biscuity malt scent - very mild throughout the nose. Light-bodied; Crisp grassy and herbal hop notes show at first with an enjoyable citrusey and lemon zest flavour, but a soft biscuity bite soon afterwards that brings out some malt notes and a touch of the sweetness of honey and caster sugar on the end. Aftertaste is dry, fairly grassy and pretty well-balanced of hops and malt, but that just means that it's mild in both! Not much going on here, sort of as-expected, but this is soft and dry throughout and a touch over-biscuity. Overall, a decent enough beer and pretty much on par for the style/expectation with a slightly grassier note than I was thinking of and a bit too biscuity with less bitterness. Good to sample from Michigan and especially for the price - I wonder if I'll ever see this back here in Washington, down South? I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Northville, Michigan on 23-October-2022 for just US$1,75, canned on 23-August-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-November-2022.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Looks like a pale lager. Aroma is a little dank hops with some lemon. Flavor is super dry malt with a very minor lemon. This is way too light all around. Good enough to have on a Friday evening to unwind but not that great altogether.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 8/31/23. Clear gold, large white head, average retention. Aroma of dank, earth, lime. Taste is grapefruit, lime, pale malt. Simple, crisp, tad bit thin. Okay.

Clear, effervescent straw body, dense medium off-white/cream head. Light grassy, floral nose. Body soft and floral with tangy light fruits (grape) and a crisp finish. Inoffensive and easy-drinking.
