This Pruim features the Vroege Tolse, an old plum varietal, hand-picked by our team in the summer of 2021 in the small plum orchards of Willy, a retired schoolteacher. With a yield of only 250 kilos, this is a small batch blend. The plums macerated on a single oak barrel for a good four months. We used two- and three-year old lambics for macerating and blending, originating from two barrels and two brews.

Flaska från 3F, blend 2, 20 - 21. Disig mörkare och smutsig orange med vit krona, inte supersnygg i glaset. Ganska snäll och mjuk i både doft och smak. Låg, lite djupare syra, snäll plommon-ton, mycket fruktkärnor, lite skal och skalbeska, fat. Kanske lite yoghurt-toner. Fruktigheten kommer fram något mer efter en stund, men saknar lite mer potens i jämförelse med andra varianter.

Pours unclear, peachy orange. Some sediment from the fruit remains in the beer . Scent is fruity, but not overly intense. Lambic is hidden. Taste is surprisingly sharp and tart (mostly lactic) , fruityness is much milder than anticipated ( after the intense scent )

Taster from 0,75l bottle at Lambic O Droom. amber murky color, small white head. smells of plums, stone fruits, spices, peppery, earthy. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of plums, earthy, grassy, bit peppery, light oak, spices. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of plums, stonefruits and some grassy notes. pretty nice one, feels quite heavy though, a bit too much so for me
