375 ml bottle, vintage 2022, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.0%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, chocolate, cinnamon and chili. Medium sweet flavour, with loads of chocolate and a nice chili burn. Moderate hops. Enjoyable.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Huge aroma of coconut and cinnamon. Very sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Artificial sweetener, custard and mild cinnamon. Chili heat dominate the finish. Sterile and filled with unpleasant additives.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2022) im 2023-03 getrunken. Flüssige Schokolade ist die erste Erinnerung die bei diesen mächtigen Stout aufkommt. Die Barrel Aged Version ist deutlich ausgewogener als die normale Version mit 8,5%. Aber auch hier sind die verwendeten Gewürze nicht zu entdecken. Leichte Einflüsse von Zimt und Chili wären schön gewesen, aber es bleibt ein tolles Bier. Skål!
