Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Ultra hazy and super pale golden coloured body with a very large, six to seven centimetre tall off-white, very frothy head that also takes a long time to fade, over the 90 per cent opaque body. Aroma of dry, grassy, herbal and almost saison-y like hop and crisp malt notes with a bit of funky yeast here as well, it seems nice - in the nose! Light to Medium-bodied; Very crisp, grassy and super perfumey hop notes dominate with a strong saison and 'cat pee' funkiness as well, with some crisp and wild yeast notes and a light stone fruit sweetness on the end. Aftertaste is dry, very crisp and floral, but elegant as well, with some white wine grapes, a touch of pine and even a soft tangerine and citrus sweetness on the tail end, but the crisp malt and yeast notes combined with the fresh hop notes are very enjoyable here! Overall, a nice brut-ish IPA that's very dry and crisp throughout that almost feels like a saison or even a Belgian Single! Great to sample really fresh from my home state of Michigan! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Red Wagon Liqours in Troy, Michigan on 18-April-2023 for US$3,89 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-June-2023.
