Corked bottle. Dark brown color, no head. Heavy aroma of slightly peated whisky, roast, ash, red berries and wine vinegar. Sour, doughy roasty flavor with peated whisky, red fruit and wine vinegar. Layers of flavors and aromas to discover, with the whisky as a solid backbone. Complex, deliicous, excellent!

From bottle at a tasting @ Bor’s, with Borresteijn, Zlotta, Markoijelena, Adamnowek, Skortila, MarcodL and Harmen. Dark brown color, cloudy. Beige head (not much). Aroma’s: sour, light roast. Retronasal there’s wood/oak, lactic acid, vinegar, sour fruit, light sweetness, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sour. Medium bodied. Still good carbonation. Finishes dry, woody, light roasty bitter,

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at Borresteijn’s place, bottled in November 2013. Clear, very dark reddish brown with a tan head. Sweetish-sourish, fruity, slightly funky and a little boozy aroma of vinegar, lots of oak, sour cherries, red grapes, vanilla and some alcohol. Sweetish-sourish, fruity and a little funky taste of red grapes, vinegar, vanilla, oak and some bitter almond, followed by a short, rather tart and oaky finish. Thin to medium body, astringent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very nice stuff!
