Twine Climber is our flagship IPA for a time when flagships are a dying breed. A modern interpretation of a West Coast IPA, this beer is packed with the hop trinity: Citra, Mosaic & Simcoe. Dry, dank & lightly juicy with a bite of citrus. Malt notes are light to let the hops shine.

473ml can. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally perfumed, piney and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, relatively neutral, pale malty background, hints of pineapple, lemon, a perfumed touch of lemon peel, slight jelly bear character. Taste is mildly bitter, citrusy fruity and piney hoppy, sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty basis, notes of lemon, some mandarine, orange, pineapple, hints of orange biscuit; minimally perfumed hints of lemon peel in the finish.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Relatively sweet, not overly bitter - decent.

Poured from 473mL can (this year's can lists 6.7% abv). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Skunky dank aroma. Biscuit malt with mild pine hops and a slight dankness. Decent.

On tap at Varietal, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of dank hoppiness, a touch of juiciness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has some dank, piney hops upfront, backed with a crisp biscuity malt base. Dank, piney finish. Nicely made.

10/IX/22 - 1Pt. can @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (Gent), BB: IX/2022 (2022-1144) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the can!
Clear yellow beer, creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: dank hops, fruity, citrus, some tropical fruits, juicy impression, decent start! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, citrus, fruity, tropical fruits. Aftertaste: a bit sweet, tropical fruits, nice bitterness, good old school West Coast IPA!

Pint can bottle at Belgian Beergeeks/Brewver summer tasting at Tim's house. Thanks Bjorn.
BB 09/2022.
