It is then stored in cool tanks for 7 weeks so that the malty sweetness and the fine hop bitterness are perfectly balanced. A harmonious beer that combines tradition and craftsmanship – ideal for Kirta time.

* Ok sweet lager but quite weak. *
Clear golden. Minimal, white head. Weak aroma, light sweet, light malt, light bread. Medium body.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a lacing, white head. Grainy malt aroma with flowery hops. Rich, sweet malty body with a lovely fresh hop edge - aroma more than bitterness. And the bitterness is just sufficient for balance. Very enjoyable. 251025

Bottle from the Lidl bargain bundle. It's been a long weekend and I've not had a drink since Thursday. Yesterday was a fleeting trip to Nottingham to celebrate the birthday of the oldest daughter and I've been working in the garden all day. So I'm knackered. Completely knackered. Hence two fest beers and a bottle of 2016 claret to go with the chicken that is roasting. Anyway. It's OK, it's got the rich malt and the kick i would expect. In fact its pretty good.

Clear yellow/golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aromas are bread, malt, some lemon/citrus. Taste is malt, bread, some nuts and herbs. Nice and well-rounded.

clear golden to amber colour, one inch of dense ecru-ish white head; aroma of rye bready, roasted nutty and sunflower seeds and some herbal notes; taste is quite the same; correct one

500ml bottle from Lidl. Clear, copper with a white head. Malty lager aroma and flavour. Ok, if unremarkable

500ml bottle from Lidl O'Fest Box: BB 3rd April 2025, drank at home on 24th November 2024. Clean golden body, white topping. Slightly more malty than hoppy, semi-sweet and OK.
