Bottle picked up from Landbierparadies Webshop, Nürnberg and consumed at home Wednesday 18th January 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music, we had a very nice Salmon meal with a Pomegranate, Red Onion and Mint Salsa. Pours cloudy chestnut brown with a dirty large off white head.Wow this is so bitter, really bitter, fruity and with a real tang. Soft moutheel, some caramel and a citrussy edge. Still cannot get over how staggeringly bitter this beer is, particularly for the style, I really am super surprised at this, it has a very lengthy dry finish. I know that there will be many who'd argue that this is not right for the style, sometimes you have to look beyond that and think wow this is just an amazing beer that's a rather extreme version of the style.

Swing top bottle. Brown color. Milk chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Roast, chocolate and caramel in the sweetish flavor. Hints of licorice. Tasty bock with a long bready aftertaste with roast and licorice. Good bock!

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle! The beer is round and fresh. Nice dry with lots of burned brown sugar. Easy to drink, nice intense with a nice roasted bitterness. Not too sweetish, more burned caramel. Long bitter roasted caramelly burned aftertaste. Very nice.

Flasche (50 cl) vom Landbierparadies, Nürnberg. - Goldbraun, klar. (2.3.2016: 3,3.) Wiederholung: vom Faß beim Hennemann in Sambach. - Vom Faß weicher, fülliger und glatter, knispelig kaffeebitter und aromatisch hopfenherb. - Ganz ungewöhnlich bitterer, außerordentlicher Bock. Große Klasse! (24.11.2019.)

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo o fajnej pianie, rosnacej szybko, zwlaszcza w drugim etapie nalewania, niestety szybko opada. Kolor piwa to brazowo miedziana barwa lekko mglista. Tresciwe w dodatku i smaczne ogolnie.

Weicher, nussig malziger Beginn. Dann trockene Holznoten, spürbar hopfenbitter. Dunkel, etwas karamellig. 8/9/10/9/7/9
