Can, 0.44l. Deep brown, almost black pour, huge frothy brown head. Medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Sweet on the nose, toasted caramel, coffee. Fruity notes in the background. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, easily drinkable. Mild sticky. Sweet taste balanced with very mild bitter notes in the background. Aroma of toasted caramel, toffee, vanilla. Bready, cake, molasses. Blueberries, oats. Roasty background, coffee notes. Medium lasting finish, sweet, sticky, slightly dry. Good one.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, some blueberry. Taste is again blueberry, vanilla, mild roast, but overall quite sweet. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, lots and lots of coffee, fruity, blueberry jam, malty, grains, very rural, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet first, then pretty acidic, good roast, alcohol, bitter, blueberry jam, malty. Aftertaste: dry, spicy, alcohol, good roast, bitter, malty, more blueberry jam, ok, but not getting any vanilla though.

On tap at Borefts Bierfestival, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 23rd September 2022 in the company of many Ratebeerians. Pours very dark brown with a light beige head. A little bit sweet, fruity with a lingering creamy vanilla flavour, blueberries are a bit on the quiet side.

Pretty light and easy for anything Imperial. Some light roast, bit of vanilla, and something vaguely berry-like. Tasty enough, and not bad, but a bit less pronounced than you'd expect from something marketed like this.
