Shared 16.9 oz. bottle. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, with plenty of malt and caramel. Taste is malt, caramel, and bread. Not as sweet as the aroma indicated. Disappointing.

Bottle. Aroma: malty, a little honey, slightly dried fruit, some wine. Taste: sweet, wine, a little alcohol, malty, slightly caramel, halva, a little oily.

Pours a nice copper from a bottle, thin white head with a bit of loose lacing. Caramelly and big malt aroma. Peppery spicy flavor with some brown sugar sweetness. A little thin. Good beer.

Can from Prince International Supermarket, Ashford. Clear chestnut colour lasting beige thick head. It’s a malty bock. quite easy drinking, decent brown malt. It’s rather good I thought. Malty. Hides ABV well. I liked it.

Can from Kubus, the Lithuanian shop in Bedford which satisfies my Eastern European tick needs. Caramel-russet, a bit weak-looking. A nice beige head which dissipates too soon. There’s quite a lot of caramel in the scent, some toffee, agave syrup and rust. Tastes pretty good: a satisfyingly sweet malty taste with an extra alcoholic kick. Surprisingly short finish. My first beer of 2016 is surprisingly... not bad.

Butilka:Clear, ruby-amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; sweetish-caramelly to dark-malty nose, maybe some traces of coffee detectable; moderate sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied; shorter dark-malty and caramelly finish. Not bad, just a bit too sweet…

Wygląd: rubinowy kolor, piana o pęcherzach przeróżnej wielkości, szybko opada. Zapach: Wiśnie/Wiśnie w czekoladzie, lekki karmel. Smak: paloność, lekki karmel. Ogólnie: Przeciętny koźlak, nie ma co się rozpisywać.
