Bottle. Nice red amber, fine carbonation, creamy offwhite lace. Light honeyish roast and caramel aroma. Full-bodied, roasted caramel, nuts, light licorice. Dry mouthfeel, spicy, herbal hops. I prefer more hop to cut through the maltiness, but still a nice beer to sip.

(bottle) Clear, ruby brown colour with a beige and thick foamy head. Mildly bready and toasty malty aroma with notes of caramel and sugar beet syrup. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly toasted malty base with notes of caramel and sugar beet; finishes sweet and slightly sticky with a restrained level of bitterness. 11.VIII.15

bottle from PoloMarket Boleslawiec. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate and roasetd malts. Full-bodied, solid malty flavours with chocolate, caramel and some nuts. Shy but pleasant hopppy finish. Well balanced, dangerously drinkable.

Some deli in Ridgewood: pours brownish amber with very little in the way of head. Aroma is sugar and dark fruit. Taste is kind of sweet and fruity. Like plum and raisin. Sweetness persists to the aftertaste. Not a great dunkler bock.

Barwa ciemnobursztynowa, dość trwała piana. Aromat opiekanych słodów, karmelu. Smak to typowe dla koźlaka nuty, ciasta, skórki od chleba. Troszeczkę brakuje mu ciała i po ogrzaniu nieco za bardzo wyłazi alkohol. W sumie to całkiem przyjemne piwo, porządny koźlak, którego można bez problemu wypić.

Can from Clarens food and wine, Norwich. Pours a bright copper red colour with a bubbly light tan head. Light aroma of caramel malts with orange peel notes. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Finish of sweet toffee. It’s ok but too sweet to have had more than one.

Copper colored, clear. Nice off-white head with quick retention (leaves a ring). Very sweet, caramel aroma with melanoidins’ hints. Quite high DMS. Light bitterness, rather sweet, malty, medium to full body, too high carbonation. A bit alcoholic. It’s a good start to create a good bock.
