A modern take on a Belgian Wheat Ale, Quite Brite is just the right beer to follow Oberon. Fruity, refreshing, and glistening, Quite Brite’s wheat malt makes it smooth and inviting, and the Belgian yeast gives it fruity flavors that delight with each sip. Hazy gold with a large head. Aroma is Belgian spice and orange peel. Taste is also Belgian spice and orange peel.

From a cheap can. This stuff does pour like a nice belgian brew. Even is a little hazy like one too . I don't get much if any of that banana bubblegum thing on the nose, my sample comes across rather neutral. Taste is pretty good, no real hints of nasty wheat ale in this. I see its styled on RB as a belgian white, not sure about this; its labeled as a wheat ale. They probably just used a good beldgy yeast on this. Not bad for a session, starts up nicely, with just a tad of wheat ale bite and thru the session, it gets a little easier to handle. Finishes with a satisfying fun bubbly experience. Good co2 level to the end. Not bad.

5 oz draft pour at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a small foamy white head. The aroma is straw lemon citrus with a bit of ester Belgian yeast. The taste is crisp wheat grain, grass, lemon citrus peel and the ester yeast finish. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and the bright citrus soft bitter yeast finish. Super easy drinking, right up my alley.

Mild lemongrass nose. Hazy golden, wispy sediment, medium head. Lemongrass, dough, coriander. Grass finish. Medium body, harsh carbonation. Bittering hops seem to be fighting with the esters.

Not one of Bell's better efforts. Some of the Belgian wit qualities but more bitter up front going towards bittersweet and a long bitter finish.

12oz can. I would call this a Wit, certainly more so than an American Wheat. Pleasantly light and effervescent on the palate, has some mild spice tones but nothing overbearing, pretty much true to style. Easy drinking, good enough.

Pretty hazy golden and straw coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma of coriander seed, light curacao, a bit of canned corn, some hay and a lot of grassy notes, but very crisp on the wheated malt side of things - nice! Medium-bodied; Relatively rich wheat and canned corn flavours show at first with a big hit of dryness from coriander seed right behind, with a light dose of hay and flowers as well, with a dry finish and some very subtle hop notes coming out at the very end. Aftertaste shows some crisp lemons and light curacao notes for the fruits, but the wheat and light coriander seed freshness seems strongest here. Overall, a pretty nice, wheat ale with a light belgian yeast characteristic and a lot of coriander seed and curacao for good measure. Great to sample from a great state! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Northville, Michigan on 23-October-2022 for US$2,00 sampled at my house here in Washington on Beer (and Day #13) of my 2022 (self-created) Advent Calendar on 13-December-2022.
