Dark amber colour, beige foam. Nose of caramel, dried fruit, syrupy, warming alcohol. Great sipper.

Amber with a red hue. Aroma and flavour of sweet, honeyed malts. Very rich and warming. Slightly cakey.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a chalice. Clear medium amber colour with a lot of yeast particles, thin short-lived fizzy off-white head, almost no lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, toffee, haagse hopjes, raisins, alcohol. Taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, caramel, toffee, raisins, liquorice, alcohol, spicy notes. Full-bodied, sticky texture, soft carbonation, boozy sweetbitter aftertaste, tasty, easy to drink, good.

Fles 33cl thuis. Wat zoet, fruitig, vrij kruidig, sticky mouthfeel, caramel, donker fruit, liquorice, pruim, rozijn, oily, wat soja, licht boozy. (13-5-2022).
