330ml bottle. Clear dark reddish brown with small white head that reduces to a thin layer. Intense sweet dark malty aroma, caramelly, nuttily and slightly alcoholic. Sweet dark malty taste, warming alcoholic finish. Could be perfectly used as prototype Doppelbock to derive variations from.

Beautiful red-dark amber color; generous head, but short-lived. Mild caramel and nuts aroma. Medium body, strong caramel flavor, with light nutty touch; correct bitterness. Unfortunately the alcohol is a bit too evident. Average.

9/12/11/12/10/12

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear deep amber with a rough off-white head. Aroma of pumpernickel and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, sweetish burned caramel, roasted malt and a little dried fruitiness. Finishes sweet with only a discreet bitterness. 030409
